The 2-inch 940nm off-road infrared LED light pod is a compact and powerful vehicle light that provides increased visibility for night vision optics. The stealth 940nm pod light is available with either a 10-degree spot beam pattern for long-range visibility or a 60-degree flood beam pattern for area lighting. An integrated DT connector allows for easy installation. Construction is durable die-cast aluminum housing with a polycarbonate lens. The IP69K and IP67 waterproof ratings allow permanent mounting on various vehicles, ATVs, and UTVs for discreet off-road light applications.
940nm IR lights provide illumination for stealth applications such as security and observing wary wildlife. When viewed with night vision optics, 940nm has a slightly more violet hue and produces less refined images. The 940nm wavelength produces a significantly reduced red glow compared to 850nm.
